My Checkbook Standard 2.3 Beta 2
We're glad to be putting out the first official Universal Binary version of My Checkbook for Mac OS X, and improved support for Windows Vista. We're working on gathering feedback for the next major upgrade of My Checkbook Standard. Please be sure to check the stability, file format compatibility, usability and visual appearance. My Checkbook Deluxe 2.5 Alpha 48
This new release demonstrates some of the next level of features that will be delivered with the up-coming release of My Checkbook "Deluxe". Currently, we only have one edition of our My Checkbook software, but this release will begin a new phase in Surprise Software that will allow us to deliver applications with greater features, without compromising our user experience. Some users just need basic features, and some need more advanced features. While we are always taking ease-of-use into consideration, we realize that some users just need more power and control. Our new edition of software will make that possible.

We'd like to apologize for cutting this release so close to the expiration. While this release includes some of the fixes we've been working on, it still doesn't deliver some of the final features and fixes that we're planning on. I'd like to ask you to continue to be patient and provide us with your experience feedback so that we can finish the deluxe version of My Checkbook! - Surprise Software Development Team
My Checkbook Deluxe 2.5 Alpha 48 Released
We've brought some of the updates found in the new My Checkbook 2.3 (standard) Beta 2 into the Deluxe version. Also fixes a problem with number formatting in Schedule Mode. Updates can now be found through the check for update item in the Application menu (Mac OS X) and Help menu (Windows).

Released version 2.3.0 Beta 2. Small updates to Vista and Leopard compatibility. Fixed several bugs found in previous beta. Improved Description & Type list management. Delete & Edit icons now available for search result selection. Various interface enhancements and bug fixes. This is also the first release to test the new Check for Update system.

Released version 2.3.0 Beta 1. This update will provide Universal Binary for Mac OS X and improved Windows Vista support. New Printing Engine, Improved Help, Larger Window, Calendar Popup for Date Selection, cleaned up user interface and various bug fixes. Now "Check for Update" from the application!

Released version 2.5.0 Alpha 47. The expiration date has been extended to January 31, 2009. This release improves printing, user interface, various bugs and missing features. Improved Vista support and Mac OS X Leopard support.

My Checkbook 2.5 Alpha 35 Released
Released version 2.5.0 Alpha 35. The expiration date has been extended to May 30, 2008. Various enhancements made to the user interface, as well as a NEW PRINTING ENGINE! This should print well on all printers. Please report any printing issues.

Enhanced Report Window, plus various fixes
Released version 2.5.0 Alpha 29. Several enhancements were added to the Report Window as well as several overall user interface enhancements. Fixed problems with Scheduled Settings causing crashes. Added the Balance to the Printout as well as the date range being printed. Quick Lists (Description and Type) now properly sort. Extended Expiration date to Dec 31, 2007.

Announcing Pre-Release My Checkbook 2.5.0 a23
New in this release: Added "Category Assistant" to help categorize items that have not been set to a category. Quickly create new categories from the category selection menu. Application now recognizes that it has been saved after making changes to categories. More options in the Contextual-Click menu on multiple register items. And you can now assign category items via Contextual Menu.

Announcing Pre-Release My Checkbook 2.5.0 a19
Fixed a window positioning error on Windows OS. Contextual menus now work for multiple transaction selection. Minor UI updates. Moved the "Balance On" text to under "Today's Balance" label.
